Quality Controller

Job Overview

The Quality Controller will be responsible for checking vehicle condition, identifying wear and tear, and assessing the health of key mechanical systems and components. This role also involves reviewing preventive maintenance schedules, documenting inspection results, and sharing clear feedback with the floor supervisor and mechanics so corrective work can be completed accurately the first time.

Core Duties

• Inspect vehicles for visible wear, damage, and other condition-related issues.
• Evaluate essential mechanical systems and parts to determine overall vehicle condition.
• Review preventive maintenance charts and recommend any extra maintenance that may be needed.
• Prepare inspection reports and present the findings to the floor supervisor or mechanics.
• Record work completed and maintain updated information in the relevant job cards and repair orders.
• During test drives, observe practical issues, note them in the test output report, and inform the floor supervisor so the technician can address them properly.
• Support the floor supervisor by highlighting defects, complaints, and any other issues noticed during inspection.
