Project Coordinator

About the Role

Battle For Blindness Foundation is looking for a Project Coordinator to support community outreach and school-linked program delivery in Begusarai. The role combines field engagement, partnership coordination, campaign support, and on-ground program execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Connect with target communities by carrying out need assessments and speaking with local stakeholders.
• Lead door-to-door outreach, community meetings, and awareness drives.
• Develop and maintain trust with parents, community members, and local leaders.
• Support campaign planning and execution around education, gender equality, and women’s empowerment.
• Help create outreach content for both digital and offline communication.
• Monitor participation, engagement, and other impact-related indicators.
• Assist in finding and onboarding partner schools.
• Support the creation and running of student-led social clubs.
• Help prepare and implement activity schedules and school-based initiatives.
• Coordinate with principals, teachers, and school coordinators to align activities with school timetables.
• Support the smooth delivery of school-level programs.

Candidate Profile

• The role is best suited to candidates who are comfortable with field visits and travel to schools and community locations.
• A strong reputation for credibility, trustworthiness, and honesty is preferred.
• The ideal candidate should be effective at working with people, building partnerships, focusing on results, and thinking strategically.

Education

Applicants should be graduates. Candidates with postgraduate qualifications, BSW, MSW, or MBA backgrounds may also apply.

Additional Information

This position requires active fieldwork and regular travel within the project area.
