Role overview
The PMO Program Manager will coordinate a portfolio of related projects and tickets to help manage strategic, financial, and operational exposure. The role focuses on aligning cross-functional work with company goals, improving execution, and making sure resources are used efficiently with fewer conflicts, delays, and budget problems. This is a fully remote position.
What you'll do
- Build and keep updated roadmaps that turn Vervent’s vision into a practical PMO strategy.
- Create and uphold program standards that guide work at both project and ticket level.
- Plan and coordinate the sequencing and scheduling of projects and tickets.
- Act as an escalation point for project teams to help ensure delivery against goals.
- Make sure direct reports follow standard operating procedures.
- Handle resource planning and change management at the project level.
- Monitor and resolve risks and dependencies across projects and tickets in the program.
- Review program performance and identify improvements that increase speed and reduce cost.
- Administer project management software and improve how the ePMO uses that platform.
What we're looking for
- Strong background in project management, especially within financial services, ideally in loan, lease, or credit card environments.
- Confident leadership style and strong communication skills.
- Experience working directly with clients, including onboarding activities.
- Comfort using tools such as ClickUp is a plus.
- Ability to use data and metrics to improve outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, or equivalent relevant experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in program or project management.
- 5 to 7 years of experience managing teams.
- Experience defining program requirements and delivering against them.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and project management tools.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Strong results orientation with a history of delivering large, cross-functional projects on time for global stakeholders.
- Analytical ability, including business trend analysis and forecasting.
- Excellent organization, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to anticipate trends, shape roadmaps, and execute plans.

Additional information
This role is classified as full-time. The work is intellectual in nature and may require extended periods of standing and sitting.
