Role overview
An established financial organisation is looking for experienced IT procurement specialists to support a transformation programme on a contract basis. The role sits within a central procurement function and focuses on running sourcing activity, working with suppliers, and keeping procurement data and documentation accurate. The assignment is expected to last 6 months, with a possibility of extension. The working model is hybrid, with 2 days each week required in Dublin city centre.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate sourcing exercises such as RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, pricing requests, and tender evaluations.
- Draft, review, and maintain sourcing documents so they remain accurate and aligned with category plans and governance standards.
- Carry out supplier research, market reviews, cost analysis, and validation of performance information to inform commercial decisions.
- Handle supplier communication during sourcing processes, including clarifications and collection of submitted information.
- Keep procurement records complete, accurate, and ready for audit within procurement platforms and tools such as Coupa.
- Contribute to improvements in sourcing workflows, turnaround times, and overall data quality.
- Work closely with category teams, hub colleagues, business stakeholders, and suppliers to support delivery.
Candidate profile
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a closely related field.
- At least 5 years of prior procurement experience, ideally within technology categories.
- Experience in financial services or a similar regulated environment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, with proven capability in analysing data, producing accurate documentation, and resolving issues.
- Comfort using procurement systems and tools, including Coupa or comparable platforms.
