About the company
Heidelberg Materials Trading is the global trading division of Heidelberg Materials, focused on managing international import and export activity for dry-bulk products. The team is hiring for its Dubai office and is seeking a People Data & Compensation Analyst to support the HR function.
Role overview
This position centers on HR analytics, compensation analysis, reporting, and reward-related support. The role contributes to workforce planning, pay and benefits insights, data accuracy, and decision-making through clear analysis and reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Examine HR information and turn it into practical insights that support workforce planning and organizational development.
- Carry out compensation and benefits analysis, including market comparisons and internal pay equity reviews, to help shape fair and competitive reward programs.
- Create, update, and improve HR dashboards, reports, and visual displays that monitor metrics such as attrition, engagement, performance, and pay trends.
- Support the yearly salary review, bonus, and incentive cycle by building data models, running simulations, and testing scenarios.
- Track benefits usage and highlight patterns or improvement opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and reliable data in HRIS and analytics systems by performing audits and data quality checks regularly.
- Partner with the HR Business Partner and leadership to prepare clear reports and presentations that aid business decisions.
- Assist with HR budget and forecast preparation, including analysis of workforce costs and budget consumption.
- Make sure all HR reporting and analytics activities follow local regulations, company rules, and internal control requirements.
- Support employee questions related to compensation and benefits in coordination with the HR team.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Science, Statistics, or a similar discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in HR analytics, compensation and benefits, or a comparable HR data-focused role in an international organization.
- Hands-on experience using HRIS systems and analytics platforms such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong command of Excel; knowledge of Python or other data analysis tools is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical ability, strong accuracy, and the skill to explain complex information in a simple way.
- Good teamwork, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
