Role overview
This is a 12-month contract opportunity for an experienced Payroll Specialist based in Singapore. The role sits with a multinational client and focuses on full-cycle payroll execution, statutory compliance, and day-to-day payroll operations.
Work setup
The position is based in Singapore and requires on-site attendance. Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
Key responsibilities
- Run both regular and off-cycle payroll processes from start to finish.
- Check payroll results carefully to confirm accuracy and compliance.
- Carry out payroll reconciliations and produce payroll-related reports.
- Prepare and submit statutory filings, including CPF, IR21, and other required compliance items.
- Manage payroll actions linked to the employee lifecycle, such as final salary, leave payout, and separation-related payments.
- Address employee questions related to payroll and work closely with HR and Finance teams.
- Assist with payroll system improvements, user testing, and ongoing process enhancement work.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of payroll experience.
- Strong understanding of Singapore payroll laws and statutory obligations.
- Practical experience handling end-to-end payroll processing.
- Exposure to SAP Payroll, SAP SuccessFactors, or Workday will be considered an advantage.
- Good analytical ability, communication skills, and stakeholder handling capability.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving environment.
