Role Overview

The Payroll & HRIS Coordinator supports payroll operations and HR administration to help keep processes accurate, efficient, and compliant. Payroll Administration

  • Run payroll accurately and within deadline for employees in multiple locations, including international payroll.
  • Check payroll inputs for correctness, such as worked hours, deductions, bonuses, commissions, and benefit-related updates.
  • Support payroll audits, reconciliations, and the resolution of payroll variances or errors.
  • Keep payroll records up to date and aligned with applicable federal, state/provincial, and local rules.
  • Liaise with payroll providers and internal teams to resolve payroll-related matters.
  • Help with year-end payroll tasks, including tax documents and reporting.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.

HRIS & HR Administration

  • Update and maintain employee data in the HRIS platform.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding, including documentation and system changes.
  • Help manage employee benefits administration, enrollments, and changes.
  • Prepare HR and payroll reports when needed.
  • Maintain employee records while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist with HR policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.
  • Respond to employee questions related to payroll and HRIS.
  • Contribute to HR projects and other initiatives as needed.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in payroll processing and HR administration.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Solid understanding of payroll practices, wage legislation, and compliance standards.
  • Strong focus on detail and well-developed organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Experience with multi-state or international payroll is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Payroll certification such as CPP, PCP, or an equivalent credential is a plus.
