Overview

This role is for a dependable multi-skilled general assistant based in Harrogate, with practical experience in joinery and plumbing. It suits someone who enjoys hands-on work, can take initiative, and is confident handling a broad mix of maintenance and repair duties to a consistently high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day maintenance and repair tasks across the site.
• Complete joinery and carpentry work as required.
• Carry out general plumbing duties.
• Manage property repairs and refurbishment jobs.
• Work in a safe, efficient manner at all times.
• Keep tools and equipment maintained and ready for use.
• Spot further repair issues and escalate them appropriately.

Requirements

• Demonstrable background in joinery or carpentry.
• Hands-on plumbing experience.
• A multi-trade or varied maintenance background is an advantage.
• Comfortable working alone as well as collaborating with others.
• Strong troubleshooting ability.
• Careful attention to detail.
• Full driving licence preferred.
