About the company
The Tief- und Rohrleitungsbau Wilhelm Wähler GmbH & Co. KG has been part of the well-known Seier Group for more than a century and is part of a larger family-run network now in its fourth generation. The company is looking to strengthen its team in Barsbüttel with an immediate start, either in part-time or full-time capacity.
Role overview
As a calculator, you will take responsibility for pricing construction services in civil engineering and pipeline construction. The role also includes additional claims-related calculations.
Key tasks
- Prepare independent cost calculations for civil and pipeline construction services, including additional and claim-related work.
- Determine quantities and compile bills of quantities.
- Support contract negotiations with subcontractors and clients.
- Develop assessments of opportunities and risks.
Requirements
- Completed degree in civil engineering, a technician qualification, or a similar background.
- Previous experience in estimating or construction supervision is an advantage.
- Confident use of current computer operating systems and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with estimating software is desirable.
- Strong numerical understanding, a structured way of working, and team spirit.
- Independent, responsible, and committed working style.
- High level of dedication and a cooperative mindset.
- Driving licence category B.
