Program Overview
You will join the JD Young (JDY) Internship Program, created to give early-career talent practical exposure to genuine business work, responsibility, and development opportunities. During the 3–6 month program, you will collaborate with experienced teams, strengthen core skills, and learn how a global organization runs from the inside.
What You Will Do
- Create and structure data models and KPI frameworks based on business needs, including quality experience and user operations, so reporting accurately represents business performance and supports monitoring.
- Set up tracking systems to observe changes in business data, investigate unusual patterns in depth, spot risks or problems early, and deliver insights that help guide decisions and keep operations steady.
- Turn data into business value by identifying customer needs, spotting opportunities aligned with market trends, and suggesting targeted strategic actions that support growth and improvement.
- Support ongoing projects by supplying data, helping resolve data issues, reviewing performance feedback, and contributing to smooth execution against project goals.
- Convert analysis into product and visualization needs, encourage the development of data products and dashboards, and improve how easily the business can use and benefit from data.
What We’re Looking For
- You are currently studying for, or have very recently completed, a degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or another quantitative discipline.
- You can think analytically and design data models and indicator systems that match actual business performance.
- You are comfortable working with data tools such as SQL, Python, Excel, and BI platforms like Tableau or Power BI to review trends and examine anomalies.
- You can transform complex information into practical recommendations, including business risks, user requirements, and growth opportunities.
- You communicate clearly and work well with others, especially when supporting projects and sharing data-backed suggestions with cross-functional teams.
Equal Opportunity
JD.com is committed to building an inclusive workplace where different backgrounds and perspectives are valued. Hiring decisions are based on merit and are not influenced by race, color, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, age, veteran status, or any other legally protected status.
