Infrastructure Manager

Role overview

This position focuses on keeping an existing web stack reliable, secure, and easy to maintain. The environment is built with HTML, Netlify, and Supabase, and the work is centered on improving what is already in place rather than replacing it from scratch.

What you will handle

• Carry out security reviews and hardening work across Supabase, Netlify, and the front-end codebase, including configuration checks, access controls, authentication, keys, permissions, and common web vulnerability fixes.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain the stack by identifying and resolving bugs across the system.
• Review commits before release and provide short, practical feedback with an emphasis on security and stability.
• Respond to incidents by diagnosing failures and implementing corrective fixes when issues occur.

Skills and experience expected

• Good command of web application security, including OWASP Top 10, secure authentication, and secrets handling.
• Practical experience working with Supabase, especially Postgres, Row Level Security, and edge functions.
• Comfort using Netlify or a similar JAMstack hosting setup.
• Strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to read and patch vanilla web code quickly.
• Ability to implement clean fixes instead of only identifying problems.
• Strong focus on system integrity, consistency, predictable operations, and controlled change.
• Experience with preventing serious data loss through backups, point-in-time recovery, safe schema migrations, and deployment practices that protect production data.
• Clear written English communication.

Working arrangement

This is a part-time onsite role based in Pune District, Maharashtra, India. The expected time commitment is 2 hours per day, with some overlap required with UK working hours.

Years of experience are not fixed for this role. Selection will be based more on the strength of the portfolio and practical capability than on seniority alone.
