Job Summary
An established banking client is seeking an experienced IT Audit Analyst to support Technology Assurance engagements. The role focuses on assessing technology controls, testing internal safeguards, and contributing to assurance work for a reputable bank.
What You Need
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in a Big 4 audit firm, or within the financial, banking, or IT sector.
- Hands-on background in IT application audits and IT risk evaluation/assessment.
- Strong understanding of IT controls across different operating systems and database platforms.
- Self-driven and capable of working independently with strong communication skills.
- Analytical, careful, adaptable, and comfortable working both individually and as part of a team.
- Able to perform in a fast-moving environment and deliver within deadlines.
- Experience using data analytics in IT audit or assurance work is preferred.
- Exposure to MAS Technology Risk Management guidelines is an added advantage.
What You Will Do
- Perform IT General Control testing in line with the assurance methodology and assess whether internal controls are designed and operating effectively.
- Use multiple information sources and sound business judgment to understand review areas, identify key risks, and plan testing around the controls meant to reduce those risks.
- Work with subject matter experts and other teams on integrated assurance reviews while helping deliver team objectives with limited supervision.
- Build and maintain professional working relationships with the technology risk team and other internal stakeholders to gather information, address issues, and complete assigned tasks.
- Share knowledge actively with team members and contribute to team learning.
- Support ad hoc assignments and projects as needed.
- Be open to job rotation when required.
