Role Summary
In this role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the facility. Your work will support residents, their rooms, and shared spaces while following all safety, sanitation, and infection-control standards.
Responsibilities
- Clean residents’ rooms by vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing surfaces, and cleaning bathrooms.
- Maintain the cleanliness of shared and common areas across the facility.
- Move clean and soiled linens to the laundry area as needed.
- Use required protective equipment appropriately while completing assigned duties.
- Mix and apply cleaning products safely and correctly.
- Follow established safety procedures, quality standards, and infection-control practices.
- Adhere to universal precautions to help keep the environment safe and sanitary.
Requirements
- Positive attitude and the ability to follow both spoken and written directions.
- Comfort with routine, repetitive daily tasks.
- Ability to comply with county, state, federal, and California Department of Public Health sanitation and infection-control requirements.
- High school diploma or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
