Role Overview

My City Home Inspector is hiring a detail-focused, community-oriented Home Inspector in Cleveland, TN. This position combines on-site property inspections, client communication, and follow-up that supports buyers, homeowners, and real estate professionals in making informed decisions about residential properties. The pay range is $60,000 to $70,000 per year.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Carry out residential home inspections at properties throughout the Chattanooga area, primarily working in the field.
• Evaluate important home systems and components such as structure, roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and safety features.
• Communicate directly with homeowners, buyers, and real estate agents in a professional, approachable way.
• Prepare clear inspection reports using company software, including photos and timely delivery within expected turnaround times.

Required Background

• Strong customer service ability, along with a sales-oriented approach to service recommendations and follow-up.
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
• Comfort working independently in the field and managing an inspection schedule.

Preferred Experience

• Prior exposure to home inspections, real estate, construction trades, or similar work.
• Experience with inspection software and basic computer tasks such as email, photo editing, and reporting.
• Background in sales, client acquisition, or territory development.
