This position offers the chance to contribute to high-profile leadership appointments that influence major organisations. The role goes beyond routine administration and includes market mapping, candidate insights and involvement in strategic initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out detailed market intelligence and map relevant executive talent for senior search assignments.
- Draft polished candidate summaries and client-facing materials.
- Support Partners during client discussions and interviews with senior leaders.
- Assist with business development activity and contribute to thought leadership work.
- Coordinate internal meetings and help ensure searches progress smoothly.
What we offer
- Flexible working with a hybrid arrangement of up to two days working from home, plus a central CBD office on George Street.
- Training and development through AESC-accredited learning, tailored growth plans and mentoring from experienced leaders.
- Direct exposure to senior executives and decision-makers through attendance at meetings with CEOs, boards and chairs.
- Market-leading bonus opportunities across all levels of the business.
- Four wellbeing days each year, access to a stocked kitchen and a lively social environment.
- Parental leave benefits including 3 months of paid leave for primary caregivers, 2 weeks paid leave for non-primary caregivers, Keep In Touch days and extra support.
- A strong commitment to diversity and inclusion, including support for initiatives such as the 40 Under 40 Most Influential Asian-Australian Awards and First Nations leadership.
Candidate profile
We are looking for someone with a tertiary qualification in Business, Psychology or a closely related discipline. You should bring strong research and analytical ability, sound problem-solving skills, excellent written communication and a sharp eye for detail. Confidence with Word and PowerPoint is important, along with a collaborative approach, the ability to work quickly and accurately, and a professional, energetic attitude suited to a high-performing team.
How to apply
If you are interested in the opportunity, even if you do not meet every point above, you are still encouraged to apply. Please send your CV along with a one-page cover letter explaining why you would like to join Johnson Partners.
