Role Overview
Golden Tulip Doha is seeking a Front Desk Agent to create a welcoming first impression for guests and support a smooth stay from arrival to departure. The role centers on efficient check-in and check-out handling, answering guest questions, managing reservations, keeping guest information accurate, and working closely with other hotel teams to deliver the expected level of service. A polished, friendly, and professional approach is essential for helping shape a positive guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide fast, courteous, and attentive service so guests receive a high standard of care throughout their stay.
- Welcome guests personally, using their names where available, and assist with room escorting to make arrivals feel warm and reassuring.
- Offer hotel orientation and room familiarization, and support guests with questions or requests about hotel facilities and activities.
- Stay updated on hotel operations and local information such as opening hours, offers, events, attractions, and nearby services so guest queries can be handled accurately.
- Monitor daily room rates and occupancy levels to support informed front desk decisions.
- Follow front desk cashiering procedures and manage incidental charges accurately through computerized front office systems.
- Ensure guest accounts are processed correctly from check-in through check-out, including the accurate posting of all incidental charges.
- Protect guest confidentiality and avoid sharing any personal guest information.
- Apply a strong understanding of hotel policies, procedures, service standards, facilities, and current events.
- Maintain compliance with the organization’s environmental, health, and safety requirements.
- Follow all company environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.
