About the Role

This opening is for a beginner-level medical coding role in a healthcare KPO environment. The work involves translating clinical information from written or verbal source material into standardized alphanumeric codes used in healthcare documentation and billing.

The coding process follows ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS classification systems and supports healthcare providers in maintaining efficient, compliant coding practices under HIPAA requirements.

Training

Complete self-supported training will be provided to selected freshers so they can learn the coding workflow and related healthcare coding standards.

Eligibility

This role is intended for candidates with a UG or PG background in Life Science, Medical, Paramedical, Dental, Pharmacy, Physio, Nursing, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Bio-Medical, Zoology, Bioinformatics, Botany, Nutrition, or Dietetics.

Acceptable educational backgrounds include B.Pharma in Pharmaceutical Analysis and Quality Assurance, B.Sc in Home Science, Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Botany, Nursing, or Zoology, B.Tech/B.E. in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Biomedical Engineering, and BDS in Dentistry.

Compensation

The monthly pay range is ₹14,500 to ₹26,700, excluding special allowances. The annual equivalent stated for the role is ₹2,25,000 to ₹3,00,000.
