Role Overview
Accelerec Ltd. is hiring a permanent F&B Support Expert for its team in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. This position is suited to someone with substantial food and beverage operations experience, a strong focus on food safety, cost discipline, and smooth day-to-day service delivery. The role is centered on helping the business maintain high standards, improve efficiency, and enhance guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily flow of food and beverage operations and make sure service quality standards are consistently met.
- Track stock levels, carry out regular inventory counts, and apply practical controls to reduce waste and keep expenses in check.
- Use POS systems to handle orders, monitor sales, and complete financial reconciliations accurately and efficiently.
- Support menu development by using data insights and cost-focused decisions to improve profitability and customer interest.
- Ensure strict food safety practices are followed and HACCP requirements are maintained across all F&B outlets.
- Build productive supplier relationships, negotiate favorable agreements, and help secure timely delivery of quality ingredients.
- Identify and resolve operational issues quickly so service remains uninterrupted and disruptions are minimized.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in an F&B support, operations, or similar role.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Strong working knowledge of POS systems and related software.
- Hands-on understanding of inventory control methods and best practices.
- Good grasp of menu engineering and its effect on margins and profitability.
- Sound knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proven background in cost control and budget management within food and beverage operations.
- Experience handling supplier coordination and contract negotiation.
- Excellent client-facing and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to diagnose operational issues and implement effective fixes.
- Comfort with data interpretation to guide operational decisions.
- Strong command of MS Excel for reporting and analysis.
- Familiarity with JIRA for task or project tracking is an added advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving ability and clear verbal and written communication.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work well with a team.
- Certified Food Protection Professional certification.
- HACCP certification.
- English fluency is preferred.
- Additional education or certifications in F&B management or hospitality are preferred.
- Experience with advanced data analytics tools and methods is preferred.
