Supported by Insight Partners, Bowery Capital, and Spider Capital, Klir is growing quickly in the digital water space. The company is seeking an Executive Assistant & Office Lead to keep executive priorities moving, support internal operations, and help maintain a strong office culture in Toronto.
Role overview
This position exists to support a fast-moving founder-led leadership team and ensure important work does not fall through the gaps. You will work closely with the CEO, COO, and CPO, help coordinate with the senior leadership team, and act as a dependable operational resource for the business.
The role is based in Toronto and follows a hybrid schedule with 2 days in the office each week.
Executive support
- Manage calendars and email in a way that prioritizes what deserves attention, what can wait, and what should be filtered out before reaching the executives.
- Prepare for executive and senior leadership meetings, capture follow-up actions, and keep accountability moving after discussions.
- Build board and investor materials by gathering data, organizing the storyline, and making sure presentations are polished and consistent with the company’s brand.
- Write and refine communications for both internal and external audiences on behalf of the executive team.
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives where executives sponsor the work but someone else needs to handle the day-to-day execution.
- Help turn company strategy into quarterly team goals and keep those goals visible throughout the quarter.
Toronto office leadership
- Oversee daily office operations such as vendor coordination, supplies, and space upkeep so the workplace remains functional and well-run.
- Serve as a visible culture builder in the Toronto office by welcoming new hires and organizing team activities that reflect the company’s values.
- Act as a communication bridge between leadership and global teams to support clear two-way communication.
- Be the local on-site contact for any matters that require a physical presence.
Shared services support
- Assist with onboarding logistics, contract coordination, and administrative workflows.
- Support IT with device setup and access coordination for Toronto-based employees.
- Take on urgent tasks that sit across multiple functions.
- Help with event planning, communications, and logistics, including occasional support for Dublin office needs when required.

Klir is not looking for a fixed number of years in an executive assistant role. Candidates do not need to come from a large corporate environment. What matters is evidence of strong performance in fast-paced, high-stakes, and ambiguous settings.
Potentially relevant backgrounds include executive assistant, personal assistant, operations, project management, chief of staff, office management, early-stage startup generalist, or another non-traditional path that demonstrates the competencies above.

- Annual salary of CAD 90,000 to CAD 100,000.
