About the Company
K Cleaning Group is a rapidly expanding residential and commercial cleaning business based in British Columbia, Canada. The company has been recognized as the 2025 New Business of the Year by its local Chamber of Commerce. It is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented assistant to help keep day-to-day operations organized while the owner stays focused on business growth.
Role Overview
This position supports the owner and the wider team across administration, bookkeeping, scheduling, communication, and social media coordination. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently to keep tasks moving smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and issue client invoices using Jobber.
- Track and log expenses with QuickBooks and Notion.
- Manage the owner's calendar, appointments, and events.
- Maintain clear and up-to-date daily task lists.
- Check, sort, and respond to email messages, and highlight urgent items quickly.
- Complete brief morning check-ins with cleaning staff.
- Identify and flag any staff member who is late, using Connecteam.
- Plan, schedule, and publish social media content across the company’s channels.
- Handle small administrative and operational tasks as they arise.
Requirements
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
- A well-organized, dependable, and self-driven working style.
- Ability to take ownership of tasks and follow through without repeated reminders.
- Comfort learning and using Jobber, QuickBooks, Connecteam, and Notion.
- Availability to be online at 8:00 AM Pacific Time from Monday to Friday.
- Reliable, stable internet connectivity.
Preferred Experience
- Prior bookkeeping or invoicing exposure.
- Experience with social media management or Canva.
- Background as a virtual assistant supporting a small business.
