Role Overview
The EQ Specialist for Early Learning and Elementary Education is responsible for delivering impactful, high-quality programming in partner schools and community settings. This role supports annual program objectives by leading evidence-based services and applying Frameworks’ established best practices.
Beyond program delivery, the position helps create positive school cultures by developing trusted relationships with educators, school leaders, and families. Through coaching, professional development, modeling, and carefully chosen resources, this role supports lasting improvements in classroom and school environments.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will conduct workshops, coach educators, and collaborate with school partners to strengthen emotional intelligence practices across early learning and elementary settings.
Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants should bring a strong understanding of emotional intelligence in educational settings, along with experience supporting teachers and leading adult learning. The role requires excellent communication, adaptability, organization, and a collaborative approach.
Work Conditions and Additional Details
This position is based in a professional office setting, with meaningful time spent in partner locations as needed. Local travel may take up as much as 50% of the work schedule, and some evening events may be required.
After 90 days, employees may be eligible for up to 20% remote work when the arrangement is appropriate and approved by the supervisor.
Selection and Compliance
To be considered, candidates must be able to pass a background check, fingerprinting, and drug screening. A valid driver’s license is required. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred.
Supervision
This position reports directly to the Education Programs Manager.
