Role Overview

Petra Silicon is hiring an experienced electrician for its mining operation in Anantapur, Mudigubba. The role is suited to someone with a solid background in electrical upkeep, fault diagnosis, and system installation within industrial or mining settings. The compensation is listed as INR 3.6 LPA.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out installation, servicing, and repairs for electrical systems and equipment at the mine site.
• Identify issues and resolve faults in motors, control panels, and power distribution systems.
• Ensure all electrical tasks follow safety rules and mining-related compliance requirements.
• Perform regular checks and preventive maintenance to reduce equipment failures.
• Handle both high-voltage and low-voltage systems as needed.
• Work together with engineers and technicians during upgrades and repair activities.
• Keep proper records and reports of the electrical work completed.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance is required, ideally in mining or heavy industry.
• Technical knowledge of motors, control circuits, PLCs, transformers, and industrial power distribution is necessary.
• Ability to understand electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Strong awareness of electrical safety practices and mining regulations.
• Physical readiness to work in demanding mining conditions.

Qualifications

Applicants should have an ITI, Diploma in Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent certification. Other graduates may apply if they possess the relevant experience and technical capability.
