Role Overview

Aditya Birla Capital is looking for a Distribution Manager to strengthen channel performance, expand sourcing reach, and improve productivity across the sales distribution network in Maharashtra, India.

Channel and Distribution Management

  • Identify new sourcing models and market opportunities to expand scale and improve penetration.
  • Recruit, activate, and improve the productivity of channel partners.
  • Work with channel teams at pan-India and zonal levels to increase retail secured wallet share.
  • Review channel performance regularly across business measures such as IRR, cross-sell, bounce ratios, RCU, and related metrics.
  • Support the onboarding of new channel partners to grow business reach.
  • Coordinate closely with the sales team to execute distribution-linked initiatives.
  • Create and implement commercial structures and incentives at the channel level to drive business outcomes.

Productivity Improvement

  • Improve productivity across tiers to maximize business impact.
  • Use research and data analysis to guide business decisions and ensure field execution.
  • Help lift the performance of the bottom quartile of the sales team with support from training and sales leadership.
  • Increase penetration within existing channels, including APF penetration efforts.
  • Strengthen activation and productivity across both existing and newly added channel partners.

Growth Initiatives and Ease of Doing Business

  • Identify and shape new growth initiatives and projects, then drive execution with the relevant teams.
  • Spot operational bottlenecks and support needs in discussion with the sales team.

Market Intelligence and Distribution Automation

  • Track competitor activity and build market intelligence around productivity and other key performance indicators.
  • Study market practices used by competitors and adopt the most relevant approaches for ABFL.
  • Promote adoption of new digital portals among the sales team.
  • Support post-sales usage of the Distributor Portal and Employee Portal.
