About the role
The Growth Enterprise Development division at Enterprise Singapore shapes strategies and programmes that strengthen Singapore Global Enterprises and contribute to the country’s economic growth. It works with internal business units to identify high-potential growth companies and design value-creation efforts that help them scale faster.
The Scale-Up team within this division leads the planning and delivery of EnterpriseSG’s flagship Scale-Up programme, which is built to help ambitious, fast-growing companies accelerate their journey towards becoming global champions.
The team partners closely with internal and external stakeholders to manage the programme end to end in an agile, iterative way. This includes programme design, company and partner selection, onboarding, execution, and continuous engagement with business leaders so that the support provided stays aligned with their growth priorities.
What you will do
You will be central to shaping and delivering the Scale-Up programme while building and maintaining senior-level relationships with growth companies to help unlock and accelerate their expansion.
- Work with programme partners and coordinate them effectively to keep the Scale-Up initiative running successfully.
- Partner with EnterpriseSG teams such as Industry Clusters, Global Markets, and Programmes & Policies to plan and carry out initiatives that support participating companies.
- Develop and sustain relationships with C-suite leaders and senior executives to understand their business interests and respond to their changing growth needs.
- Support alumni companies after the programme by creating and running an engagement approach and leadership community that continues to add value.
- Review both qualitative and quantitative information, and use programme evaluations to improve the structure, relevance, and impact of Scale-Up for Singapore’s high-growth enterprises.
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate is self-driven, comfortable handling competing stakeholder needs, and strong in business judgement and project coordination. You should also be able to thrive in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment.
- 2 to 5 years of experience across public and private sectors, preferably in project management or commercial-facing roles such as business development, corporate strategy, or partnerships.
- A dependable team player who works well with others, adapts quickly, and can manage several tasks at once.
- Strong people skills and communication ability, with the confidence to build alignment among internal decision-makers and external inter-agency counterparts, even when views differ.
- Well-developed organisational, writing, and presentation skills, with a track record of producing clear decks and documents for senior stakeholders.
- Genuine interest in public service and in helping local enterprises grow.
