Role Overview
As Creative Director at Schoox, you’ll steer the company’s visual identity and lead the creation of high-impact brand assets. This is a highly involved creative leadership position where you will define the creative direction, guide delivery, and uphold a consistently high standard across all brand touchpoints. You’ll work closely with a selected group of agencies and production partners, providing direction without managing a large internal creative team. The role calls for someone who can balance big-picture thinking with hands-on creative work while maintaining quality in a fast-moving environment.
Key Contributions
- Build and execute creative strategies that support brand goals, messaging, and overall business objectives.
- Choose, brief, and oversee outside agencies and freelance collaborators, ensuring their work stays aligned with brand standards, timing, and expectations.
- Continuously refine the brand identity so that visual style, voice, and storytelling remain consistent across all materials.
- Independently create concepts and deliver polished creative for digital, social, video, and event channels, while also directing external partners to scale production.
- Lead the development of integrated campaign assets designed to strengthen brand awareness and audience engagement.
- Work with marketing leadership to produce paid and organic ad creative, then analyze performance indicators such as CTR, conversions, and engagement to improve results over time.
- Partner with marketing, product, and sales teams so creative work supports broader business priorities.
- Manage the creative production budget, including project scoping, deciding when to build internally versus outsource, selecting tools and subscriptions, and controlling vendor spend.
- Ensure all creative output meets brand guidelines and quality expectations.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Marketing, or Advertising; a master’s degree is considered an advantage.
- At least 8 years of creative experience, with a background that combines hands-on production and strategic creative leadership, ideally in B2B SaaS, enterprise technology, or a fast-growing software business.
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates work across multiple formats and media.
- Working knowledge of creative tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong verbal communication and presentation abilities.
- Strategic mindset with a solid grasp of marketing and brand building.
- Demonstrated success working with external agencies and freelancers, including briefing, partner evaluation, direction-setting, and quality oversight.
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to deliver against deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
- Awareness of modern trends and technologies, including AI tools that can support creative production.
Compensation & Benefits
Schoox emphasizes transparent pay practices. The salary range for this position is $125,000 to $145,000. Final compensation will be based on qualifications and experience, and may also include restricted stock options. Additional employee benefits are available through the company’s benefits program.
