Role Overview

The Busser position is centered on helping create a welcoming, clean, and safe dining experience. The goal is to keep tables and guest areas ready so diners enjoy a smooth visit and want to return.

Key Duties

• Remove used plates, napkins, and other table items after guests finish dining, and take them back to the kitchen.
• Keep the area around tables tidy by sweeping and mopping floors and maintaining clean chairs.
• Ensure adequate supplies of glassware, silverware, and dishware are always available.
• Clean, sanitize, and reset tables between guests.
• Replenish condiments such as salt, pepper, and similar table items.
• Support servers by carrying food to guests when needed.
• Keep service stations organized, clean, and stocked.
• Assist with other restaurant cleaning tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Successful candidates should bring a willingness to help others, learn, and develop, along with a positive mindset. The role also requires the ability to clean tabletops, table legs, booth seats, and floor areas, as well as move dishes and baskets between the dining room, service bar, and kitchen frequently throughout a shift.

Physical Expectations

This job involves being on your feet for the full shift and moving throughout the restaurant while interacting with guests. It also requires handling items up to 5 pounds regularly, lifting or moving up to 25 pounds occasionally, and bending or stooping as needed. Good vision is necessary to judge cleanliness and use a touchscreen. Reasonable accommodations may be available for qualified individuals with disabilities.
