Business Analyst (AML/KYC/Fircosoft)

Role Overview

This position is for a management consultant working as a business analyst in the banking sector. Requirements

• A completed degree is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in business analysis within AML, financial crime compliance, or risk technology.
• Practical background in transaction screening platforms, ideally in banking or financial services.
• Direct experience with Fircosoft projects, including implementation or upgrades, screening rule setup, list handling, or tuning.
• Good knowledge of AML/CTF rules, sanctions screening, and relevant regulatory expectations.
• Strong capability in preparing BRDs, FSDs, user stories, and process-related documentation.
• Well-developed stakeholder handling, communication, and presentation abilities.
• Comfortable working in a consulting environment with a strong focus on delivery and pace.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to replace manual work with automated solutions and suggest practical improvements based on business needs.
• Convert broad business needs into detailed, context-appropriate documentation.
• Review and assess current business processes to find gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare user stories with enough detail for development teams to estimate and implement effectively.
