Bartender

About the Role

Original Joe’s is looking for a personable, energetic bartender to join its Surrey location. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a busy hospitality setting, takes pride in quality drink service, and knows how to make guests feel comfortable and welcomed. You’ll be part of a team-oriented restaurant environment where great service, attention to detail, and a positive attitude matter every shift.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Preparing a range of drinks quickly and accurately while keeping quality and consistency high.
• Greeting and interacting with guests in a warm, professional, and approachable way.
• Coordinating with the front-of-house team to keep service smooth during busy periods.
• Keeping the bar clean, stocked, and organized so it remains ready for service.
• Knowing the beverage menu and daily features well enough to make suitable recommendations.
• Watching alcohol consumption and serving responsibly in line with legal and safety requirements.
• Processing guest payments and balancing the cash drawer with accuracy.
• Helping develop new cocktail ideas and drink specials with the bar team and management.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who brings at least 1 year of bartending experience in a busy restaurant or bar setting. The right candidate will communicate clearly, stay calm under pressure, manage multiple tasks well, and enjoy creating memorable guest experiences. A genuine interest in mixology and a knack for problem-solving will be an advantage.
