About the Company
PLUS Communications is a Virginia-based communications agency in Arlington that delivers integrated, award-winning work across public affairs, corporate communications, digital, advertising, and media buying. The firm describes itself as a place where “PLUS means more.”
Role Overview
PLUS Communications is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Associate to support its expanding digital team. In this role, you would help execute digital programs for advocacy campaigns and organizations with a focus on fundraising and audience engagement.
What You’ll Do
- Set up and send political and public affairs communications across email, text, and peer-to-peer messaging channels.
- Build and review performance reports for email, SMS, and P2P outreach.
- Configure tracking links and related measurement details.
- Develop website pages and online forms.
- Construct automated workflows across different marketing platforms.
- Support the creation of fundraising package ideas and concepts.
- Prepare fundraising materials for client review, approval, and release.
- Use reporting insights to help guide decisions on fundraising packages.
- Handle data selection and management for fundraising programs.
What They’re Looking For
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently.
- Prior experience with sending or launching marketing emails.
- Comfort working with reports, Excel, or data analysis.
- Ability to write creative, effective digital content.
- Must be able to work from Arlington, Virginia.
- WordPress or another website CMS experience is a plus.
- Experience with HubSpot or Salesforce is an added advantage.
Working Arrangements
This is a full-time role with a 40-hour workweek and a hybrid setup combining office and remote work. The position is classified as non-exempt under FLSA and is eligible for overtime pay.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary budget for this position is $55,000 per year. A year-end bonus may also be available.
Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k), life insurance, paid parental leave, paid vacation, and paid sick leave. The company also offers a hybrid work-from-home environment.
