Role Overview
In this Architect position, you will act as an important coordination link within the project team and support the Senior Architect in delivering complex architectural assignments. The role centers on managing interfaces between disciplines, maintaining design consistency, and ensuring smooth communication with internal stakeholders, clients, and external consultants. Strong organization, careful attention to detail, and a good grasp of architectural and engineering workflows are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Senior Architect with the daily coordination of design activities and project deliverables.
- Serve as the connection point between architecture and other disciplines such as structural, MEP, civil, and systems teams to keep design packages fully aligned.
- Monitor design submissions, responses, and approval progress to help keep deliverables on schedule.
- Consolidate and check inputs from different disciplines before client submissions to confirm completeness and consistency.
- Take part in coordination and technical discussions, record decisions, and follow through on action items.
- Help prepare reports, presentations, and design-review material for clients.
- Support the management of comment logs, including DRS tracking, and handle architecture-related document control.
- Make sure design outputs follow project standards, applicable codes, and authority requirements.
- Keep accurate records of architectural and multi-discipline deliverables.
- Identify coordination conflicts early and work collaboratively toward resolution.
- Keep the Senior Architect and Project Manager updated with clear reporting and communication.
- Contribute to the quality and efficiency of design submissions.
- Support collaboration across teams to achieve integrated project delivery.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Architecture is required.
- At least 8 years of experience in architectural coordination or in multidisciplinary project settings.
- A valid Qatar MMUP Grade A registration in Architecture is mandatory, and proof of the MMUP card must be included with the CV.
- Background in the design and construction of major projects, including residential complexes, residential and industrial buildings, and interior and exterior design.
- Strong knowledge of Qatar civil regulations, including QCS, Civil Defence requirements, and NFPA standards.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including civil works, MEP, and ICT.
- Hands-on proficiency with BIM, Revit, AutoCAD, and other architectural tools.
- Excellent command of English is essential.
- Arabic language skills are considered an advantage.
