Role Overview

An opportunity is available for an Analytical and Materials Scientist to join the Analytical Control & Development team in Sandwich, UK. The position supports the creation of innovative respiratory and other medicinal products from early-stage formulation through clinical studies and product registration.

This laboratory-based role is focused on generating reliable analytical data and scientific insight to help advance new medicines while upholding strong standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out analytical testing that supports product development, clinical study work, and regulatory documentation.
  • Run experiments that build understanding in analytical and materials science and support method development and formulation work.
  • Perform analyses linked to product stability, development, and scale-up activities.
  • Review and interpret data, identify irregularities, and work with supervisors to investigate issues when required.
  • Keep laboratory records accurate, complete, and compliant with data integrity and good documentation practices.
