Team Overview

You will join the Global Service Delivery team, which supports office infrastructure and employee connectivity across 10 countries. Role Summary

This position is centered on Workday Time Tracking, with responsibility for making sure the module runs smoothly, scales well, and supports accurate payroll processing and compliance with local regulations. In addition to core Workday responsibilities, the role also includes contributing to other HR systems and tools to help strengthen the broader People Technology landscape.

The successful candidate will work closely with People and IT partners to design scalable solutions, improve processes, and identify opportunities for automation and better use of Workday and related tools. Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and support Workday Time Tracking, including time entry rules, validation logic, work schedules, time calculations, and compliance-related settings.
  • Work with cross-functional partners to turn business needs into scalable Workday solutions that improve the employee experience.
  • Manage reporting, calculated fields, and security settings so leaders can access accurate information on time entries, exceptions, overtime, and pay-impact data.
  • Create and maintain documentation such as SOPs, configuration references, and process maps to improve team continuity and knowledge sharing.
  • Support additional Workday areas and internal systems as project priorities and personal development needs evolve.
  • Keep up with Workday product updates and broader people technology trends, and look for ways to improve automation and efficiency.
  • Contribute to other internal tools and technologies outside Workday as part of the wider People Technology ecosystem.

Requirements

  • 4 to 6 years of practical Workday experience, including at least 2 to 3 years focused on Time Tracking configuration, rules, and reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of Time Tracking setup, such as time entry codes, calendars, work schedules, validation rules, overtime, shift premiums, holiday rules, and related compliance needs.
  • Advanced Reporting and Calculated Fields expertise, with the ability to build complex reports and time-based analytics across domains.
  • Solid understanding of Workday HCM basics, including core business processes like hire, change job, and termination, along with configuration concepts such as condition rules, organizations, hierarchies, and custom objects.
  • Working knowledge of Workday security, including constrained and unconstrained roles as well as segmented security.
  • Strong analytical ability, sound judgment, and a focus on process improvement and data accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, including the ability to influence stakeholders and translate business needs into system design.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, IT, Business Systems, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.

Preferred Experience

  • Exposure to Workday Time Tracking, Absence, or Payroll integrations, including EIBs, PECI, or custom interfaces.
  • Experience implementing overtime, shift differentials, or country-specific labor rules in Workday.
  • Familiarity with testing approaches, release management, or regression testing for time-related logic.
  • Experience in an international or fast-moving business environment.
