Role Overview

This is a full-time, on-site Waitress position based in Limassol Municipality. In this role, you will welcome guests, share menus, take orders with accuracy, and deliver food and drinks promptly and professionally. You will also prepare and reset tables, keep the dining area tidy, coordinate with the kitchen on orders, special requests, and dietary preferences, and help ensure service standards and hygiene expectations are consistently met. The position also includes handling payments, responding to guest queries or concerns, and contributing to smooth restaurant operations during normal service hours, busy periods, and special occasions.

Key Duties

• Receive guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit.
• Explain menu options and record food and beverage orders accurately.
• Serve dishes and drinks in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.
• Set up tables before service and clear them after guests finish.
• Maintain cleanliness and order across the dining area.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff for orders, special instructions, and dietary needs.
• Process guest payments and handle basic billing-related tasks.
• Address customer questions, requests, and concerns in a helpful way.
• Support the service team to keep operations running smoothly during peak and event service.

Requirements

• Strong guest-facing communication and customer service skills.
• Working knowledge of food and beverage service, including menu familiarity and basic service routines.
• Basic cooking knowledge or an understanding of kitchen processes is beneficial.
• Prior experience in a restaurant, café, hotel, or similar hospitality setting is preferred.
• Ability to remain on your feet for long periods and carry trays as needed.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Good attention to detail, reliability, and a cooperative team attitude.
• English fluency is required; additional local or foreign languages are an advantage.
