Role Overview

Hashtechy is hiring a creative Video Editor for its Ahmedabad team. This position is suited to someone with 0 to 2 years of experience who can craft engaging visual stories for social media and brand communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop polished motion graphics and animated visual elements.
• Work on both short-form and long-form video edits.
• Produce attention-grabbing reels, advertisements, promotional videos, and social media creatives.
• Enhance videos using animations, transitions, kinetic text, sound design, and visual effects.
• Partner with the creative team to shape ideas and bring them to execution.
• Complete assignments on time while keeping the output quality high.
• Handle edits and revisions efficiently and keep project assets neatly organized.

Requirements

• Strong working knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
• Ability to use Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Understanding of motion graphics, animation fundamentals, and visual storytelling.
• Good grasp of typography, transitions, and editing rhythm.
• Awareness of current social media trends and reel-style editing formats.
• Comfortable receiving feedback and working in a fast-moving environment.
• A portfolio or showreel is mandatory.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator.
• Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop.
• Optional knowledge of Blender.
• Basic understanding of 3D animation is an added advantage.
• Experience creating ad creatives and branded content.
• Hands-on experience with motion graphics or After Effects.
• Awareness of social media analytics and performance indicators.
