Role overview

Key responsibilities

  • Carry out assigned transportation schedules safely and on time, while adapting quickly to changes such as delayed flights or other disruptions.

  • Represent the organization with professionalism, courtesy, punctuality, and a clean, neat appearance, while treating vehicles, equipment, and supplies with care.
  • Record every one-on-one transport involving a minor in line with SafeSport Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies, ensuring it qualifies as an emergency situation.
  • Stay in regular communication with the operations team regarding arrivals, delays, passenger counts, and any transportation updates.
  • Remain calm, cooperative, flexible, and patient when plans change, and be prepared to respond to short-notice transportation requests.
  • Take on additional related tasks as assigned.

Required qualifications

  • High school diploma or an equivalent credential.
  • Valid Colorado driver’s license with CDL Class C and passenger endorsement, or the ability to obtain it within six months of joining.
  • At least 3 years of experience driving multi-passenger vehicles.
  • Working knowledge of vehicle operations, including preventive maintenance practices and procedures.
  • Clean driving history.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication ability.

Work conditions and equipment

  • Use of standard office equipment.
  • Driving in a range of weather and road conditions.
  • Operation of multi-passenger vehicles with seating capacity from 2 to 40, including buses, vans, and SUVs.
  • Ability to lift and move at least 65 pounds.
