Role Overview

The Training Associate delivers training sessions in person and through webinars for providers and Care Center employees. The role focuses on helping Care Centers succeed with the EHR by reinforcing Privia’s standard workflows and acting as a knowledgeable internal resource for colleagues.

This position requires 70% travel in support of the GA, TN, KY, and OH markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct pre-launch training for providers, clinical teams, and administrative staff with an emphasis on efficiency, delegation, and population health initiatives.
  • Provide on-site support during go-live and hands-on assistance for Care Centers.
  • Use established curriculum and training tools to teach EHR concepts.
  • Adapt best-practice training content based on workflow assessments and the specific needs of each Care Center.
  • Track completion of online learning modules.
  • Make sure training sessions are scheduled and delivered within the required timeline.
  • Review key performance reports to identify providers and Care Centers that need additional support.
  • Partner with Implementation, Product Performance, and Performance Team members to achieve shared goals.
  • Serve as an athenahealth subject matter expert for other Privia teams.
  • Deliver strong customer service through practical problem-solving and consistent follow-through.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent background and experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology, including extended terminology used in clinical settings.
  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management abilities.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work well across teams and organizational levels.
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving, changing environment.
  • Must follow HIPAA rules and privacy requirements.
  • A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation are required.
  • Prior experience using an EMR or practice management system is expected; experience with athenaClinicals and athenaCollector is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary for this position ranges from $55,000 to $65,000, excluding bonuses and benefits. The role is also eligible for an annual bonus with a target of 10%.

Remote Work Technical Requirements
