Role overview

We are looking for a seasoned Test Director to take ownership of testing across a major regulatory transformation program in Sydney. This is a senior leadership position responsible for shaping the overall test approach, setting up governance structures, managing distributed testing teams, and helping ensure delivery success across several technology workstreams.

What you'll do

• Develop and manage the complete testing approach from start to finish.
• Direct large testing teams across onshore and offshore locations, along with external vendors.
• Create and maintain test governance, reporting, and quality control frameworks.
• Manage System, Integration, UAT, Performance, Automation, and End-to-End testing activities.
• Work closely with senior leaders across business and technology functions.
• Improve testing outcomes by promoting automation and modern QA practices.

About the ideal candidate

• You bring extensive leadership experience in enterprise testing environments.
• You have a track record of delivering large-scale regulatory or compliance-related programs.
• You are experienced in leading global and offshore teams.
• You understand test strategy, governance, risk management, and quality assurance in depth.
• You have worked with current testing tools, automation, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
• You communicate confidently with executives and manage stakeholders exceptionally well.
