Technologist – QEM PCS

Role overview

Micron Technology is seeking a Technologist for the QEM PCS function in Singapore. The role sits within a collaborative environment focused on innovation, operational excellence, and disciplined process execution.

What you will do

• Carry out fault detection and classification process-control change requests promptly so that in-line process or equipment issues can be identified quickly.
• Support engineers with validation and testing of software releases.
• Use sound troubleshooting and logical analysis to isolate recurring quality concerns and perform initial data mining.
• Prepare concise reports and updates that clearly capture the main points from weekly trend and issue-tracking reviews.
• Summarize observations and findings from first-level data mining into actionable highlights.
• Assist engineering teams with non-engineering tasks such as compiling data and preparing presentations.
• Complete all assigned learning items within the required timeframe.
• Follow the site process-control business processes and business rules at all times.

Requirements

• High school diploma, or equivalent practical experience.
• Background in engineering or a closely related discipline is preferred.
• Comfort with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word, plus other workplace systems such as SharePoint.
• Strong administrative and organizational capability, with careful attention to detail when handling engineering-related work.
• Self-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and with limited supervision.
• Good interpersonal skills, along with clear verbal and written communication.
• Customer-oriented approach and the ability to deliver efficiently in a fast-moving environment.
• Flexibility to work shifts according to business needs.
• Experience with programming languages, scripting, or AI tools would be an advantage.
