This position plays an important part in keeping Nscale’s global expansion and AI data centre delivery aligned with strategic goals.
What You Will Do
- Run GPU deployment projects from start to finish, ensuring smooth execution through every project phase.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver major infrastructure rollouts and data centre relocation work.
- Manage large data centre build-out and fit-out programs at 20MW scale and above, including GPU server deployment.
- Prepare detailed project schedules, plans, and resourcing requirements for assigned workstreams.
- Work closely with engineers, contractors, and vendors during deployment activities.
- Monitor milestones and progress, resolve issues early, and apply corrective actions when needed.
- Ensure equipment installation follows Nscale standards as well as vendor requirements.
- Maintain project records such as installation guides, as-built documentation, and handover packs.
- Organize site access, delivery coordination, and on-site support resources.
- Lead regular project review meetings and share status updates with stakeholders.
- Track budgets and compare actual spending with forecasts.
- Apply standardized deployment methods and help improve existing processes.
- Confirm that installations comply with power, cooling, and load-bearing requirements of the data centre.
- Carry out quality assurance checks throughout the deployment cycle.
- Support the transition of completed deployments to the operations team.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field is required.
- Applicants should have around 5 to 10 years of project management experience, ideally involving multiple data centre projects across the APAC region.
- Hands-on experience delivering large-scale projects above 20MW and deploying GPU servers is essential.
- Proven end-to-end delivery experience covering cabling, rack deployment, rPDU installation, cable basket systems, and hot aisle containment is mandatory.
- Experience completing infrastructure deployment projects on schedule and within budget is required.
- Ability to standardize deployment processes to improve consistency and quality.
- Capability to shorten deployment cycles and improve delivery efficiency.
- Strong understanding of technical installation requirements and performance expectations.
- Attention to detail in maintaining complete and accurate project documentation.
- Ability to build effective relationships with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Experience identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing better ways of working.
- Willingness to support broader program objectives as needed.
