Role Overview

This is a full-time Technical Architect role within the AI and Digital Engineering team. The position is based in Pune on a hybrid working model and reports to the Solution Architect or Principal AI Solutions & Enterprise Architecture leader. It is suited to a mid-senior professional with 10 to 15 years of experience and exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

The role combines hands-on engineering, architecture ownership, AI-enabled delivery, and client-facing technical consulting. The focus areas include AI, engineering, .NET, and open-source technologies.

Technical Architecture and Delivery

You will be expected to take ownership of technical architecture decisions on delivery programs and design component-level solutions that support the broader architecture direction set by the Solution or Principal Architect.

The role also requires active involvement in delivery execution, including reviewing code, leading technical design discussions, and helping development teams remove blockers.

You will be responsible for maintaining technical quality across deliverables by reviewing architecture and code, checking implementation against standards, and helping resolve technical debt. Any architectural risks that arise during delivery will need to be identified and escalated appropriately.

AI and Engineering Framework Adoption

A key part of the job is to learn, apply, and promote AI-first engineering methods. This includes generative AI integration approaches, agent-based workflows, and intelligent automation inside delivery teams.

You will also contribute to building and maintaining AI engineering frameworks, reusable accelerators, and other technical assets that can be used across projects.

The position calls for continuous evaluation of new tools, APIs, and platforms in the AI and cloud-native ecosystem, and bringing useful innovations into delivery practice.

Technical Consulting and Problem Solving

You will work with client-side technical teams to understand existing system landscapes, integration needs, and technical limitations.

The role requires proposing practical, modern solutions for challenges involving application modernization, AI integration, and cloud migration.

You will also support pre-sales work with the Solution and Principal Architect, including technical assessments, proof-of-concept planning, and effort estimation.

Cloud and Automation Implementation

This role involves designing and implementing cloud-native solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP. Relevant areas include containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, serverless functions, and event-driven architectures.

You will also build intelligent automation components using workflow engines, RPA tools, or custom pipelines powered by AI.

Mentoring and Internal Collaboration

You are expected to coach senior engineers and developers, especially in the use of AI tools, cloud platforms, and modern engineering practices.

The role also includes contributing to the company’s internal community of practice through knowledge sharing, documentation, and participation in architecture forums and discussions.

Technical Skills

Strong practical experience in .NET, especially C# and ASP.NET Core, is important. Experience in open-source stacks such as Python, Java, or Node.js is also valuable, and familiarity with both .NET and open-source ecosystems is considered an advantage.

The ideal candidate should have working knowledge of generative AI integration, LLM APIs such as OpenAI or Azure OpenAI, LangChain, retrieval-augmented generation patterns, or agentic workflow frameworks.

Hands-on cloud experience is needed across AWS, Azure, or GCP, including microservices, containers, serverless patterns, and CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.

Exposure to intelligent automation platforms, workflow orchestration tools, or RPA solutions will be useful. Knowledge of enterprise platforms such as Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, or ServiceNow will be an added benefit.

Additional Information

Minimum experience required for this position is 10 years, with the role targeting professionals who have up to 15 years of relevant experience. A cloud certification from AWS, Azure, or GCP at any level is considered a plus.
