Team Lead, Learning and Development

About the role

We are looking for a strategic and growth-minded Team Lead for Learning and Development to support a fast-moving, collaborative team. This position sits within a company that helps B2B organizations strengthen audience, buyer, and account engagement through demand generation solutions. The role is part of INFUSE Academy, the company’s learning arm focused on building practical, high-impact e-learning experiences for both internal and external audiences.

The learning approach here is centered on business outcomes and learner needs. Most programs are self-paced and asynchronous, often supported by AI-enabled tools and immersive learning simulations. The team also places a strong emphasis on storytelling and creative learning design to make development experiences more engaging and effective.

Role overview

As the Team Lead, Learning and Development, you will help keep the Instructional Design team coordinated and aligned with subject matter experts, internal partners, and stakeholders across the organization. You will guide project timelines, manage approvals, support workflow planning, and help translate goals into clear, actionable work for the team. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys structure, communication, and turning plans into execution.

Key responsibilities

• Work with instructional designers to plan learning projects, keeping timelines, duties, and deliverables on track while promoting a collaborative team culture.
• Break project plans into practical task lists, assign ownership, and monitor progress across the team.
• Act as the main contact for internal teams and stakeholders, maintaining clear communication and aligned expectations throughout each project.
• Track approvals and review cycles, following up proactively so work continues moving forward.
• Support people-related coordination by matching projects to the right skills, watching team capacity, and escalating blockers when necessary.
• Handle a small number of e-learning projects yourself in the instructional designer capacity.
• Assist with communication activities such as training launch planning and creating clear messaging for internal and client-facing audiences.
• Recommend and help implement process improvements that strengthen collaboration and support scalable operations for the academy.

What the company is looking for

The preferred candidate should bring mid- to senior-level instructional design or related L&D experience, along with a background in team coordination, leadership, or project management. Strong AI fluency is important, and experience building custom GPTs or rolling out scalable AI solutions across teams is a plus.

You should also bring excellent relationship-building and communication skills, confidence in managing change, and the ability to work with both internal and external stakeholders. Being highly organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, and proactive is essential. A team-first mindset and strong English writing and speaking skills are also important for this position.

Hiring process
