About the Role
This position, based in Sevenum, Netherlands, requires you to lead smart, efficient, and customer-centric demand and supply planning across multiple warehouses and sales channels. Your primary goal will be to ensure product availability at the right time and place. You and your team will manage forecasting, inventory, and supplier relations, balancing stock levels, minimizing stockouts, and optimizing stock rotation. Utilizing a strategic, data-driven approach, you will identify improvement opportunities. You will lead a team of 5 direct reports and approximately 35 indirect colleagues, ensuring scalable, efficient, and compliant operations across various countries. Your success will be measured by high forecast accuracy, strong service levels, healthy inventory, and continuous improvement in planning processes.
Your Tasks
- Oversee end-to-end demand and supply planning to guarantee accurate forecasts, optimal inventory, and robust product availability across all markets and warehouses.
- Enhance inventory performance by reducing stockout risks, improving stock turnover, and managing necessary purchases effectively.
- Implement data-driven forecasting and planning methodologies to boost accuracy, efficiency, and overall performance.
- Cultivate strong supplier relationships to ensure supply continuity, mitigate risks, and improve operational collaboration.
- Lead and develop your team (5 direct, 35 indirect reports), focusing on capability enhancement and high performance.
- Serve as a central point of contact, fostering strong internal stakeholder alignment across Commercial Operations, Category Management, Strategic Procurement, Logistics, and Pharma Operations to coordinate demand, supply, and warehouse capacities.
- Collaborate with senior leadership in Operations & Supply Chain to align on planning strategies, performance goals, and business priorities.
About You
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Possess at least 5 years of relevant experience in demand planning, supply planning, forecasting, or inventory management.
- Demonstrate the ability to analyze and interpret planning, inventory, and supply data to inform decision-making.
- Proven track record in leading teams and achieving cross-functional alignment within a supply chain context.
- Experience managing planning operations for multiple warehouses or countries.
- Familiarity with the e-commerce sector.
- Willingness to work from our Sevenum office at least three days per week.
