Role Overview
INFLXD is a fast-scaling, AI-assisted services company working with growth-stage technology firms, enterprise customers worldwide, and major data infrastructure platforms. This position is intentionally broad rather than narrowly defined. It is designed for someone with strong judgment, a sense of urgency, and the ability to contribute across many types of work.
You should be the kind of person who can quickly identify the most important unfinished task and move it forward without needing a detailed playbook. The work may shift from operations to workflow design, hiring support, client preparation, process fixes, or drafting messages on behalf of the Founder.
The core expectation is simple: understand what matters, take ownership, and get it done.
Who Excels in This Role
No single background is required. What matters is proof that you can operate effectively in real-world situations. People who are likely to succeed here often come from one of the following profiles:
- Early-stage startup builders who have handled multiple responsibilities and prefer real impact over neat org charts.
- Operators from operations, project management, consulting, hospitality, or executive support who want close exposure to founders and genuine ownership.
- Technically capable generalists who can automate work, use AI tools, and build practical solutions without waiting for an engineering team.
- People who naturally step into unclear situations and are the ones others rely on to solve them.
Common traits among strong fits include wanting ownership more than comfort, exposure more than a polished title, and accelerated learning over the long term.
What We Are Looking For
- A strong bias toward action and problem-solving, with a habit of moving forward without waiting for perfect instructions.
- Comfort with ambiguity and changing priorities.
- A fast, low-friction working style that includes bringing options, progress, and recommendations rather than only questions.
- Regular use of AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Granola, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar tools as part of daily work.
- Sound execution judgment, including knowing when to move quickly, when to escalate, and when details matter.
- Comfort with direct feedback and a fast improvement cycle.
- Strong discretion, since you may handle contracts, deal terms, compensation data, client information, and personal matters.
- Presence in Singapore and good judgment about when being physically in the room is important. This is an in-office-first role with hybrid flexibility when appropriate.
What the Job Involves
- Owning work that sits between teams and ensuring it gets completed, whether that means solving process breakdowns, managing vendors, supporting hiring, handling compliance, coordinating handoffs, or taking charge of anything important that lacks a clear owner.
- Turning messy or open-ended discussions into structured plans with owners, deadlines, dependencies, and blockers, often using AI to speed up the first draft before applying judgment.
- Creating internal tools, dashboards, automations, documentation, and workflows across systems such as Gmail, Calendar, Notion, and Slack.
- Supporting the business commercially by preparing client meetings, researching prospects, drafting outward-facing communications, and assisting with sales-related execution.
- Taking on whatever is needed in a given week, including travel coordination, event support, hosting, leadership assistance, founder priorities, internal cleanup, and urgent follow-through.
What You Can Expect
- Direct visibility into how the company is built, including how the Founder thinks, decides, hires, sells, and delivers.
- Close exposure to high-growth clients, senior operators, and high-pressure execution.
- AI-enabled working methods that are expected to help you move faster and produce stronger output.
- Early ownership of meaningful work, rather than long periods of waiting before getting responsibility.
- A growth path that may lead toward operations, strategy, go-to-market, systems, Founder’s Office work, or leadership depending on your strengths.
Working Style and Expectations
- This is a demanding role and typically runs six days per week.
- Work is mainly in person in Singapore, with remote or hybrid flexibility earned week by week.
- There are no fixed shifts; priorities are driven by the needs of the business.
- Work patterns may change significantly from one week to the next.
- You should be able to handle direct feedback and adapt quickly.
- If you need a predictable, tightly defined role, this position is unlikely to be a fit.
What Strong Candidates Have Done Before
At least three of the following should apply to your background:
- Owned a project or responsibility end to end without step-by-step instructions.
- Built a system, tool, dashboard, workflow, or process that others depended on.
- Used AI tools every day in actual work.
- Created something useful with Cursor, Claude Code, Apps Script, automations, or similar tools.
- Worked in an early-stage or high-growth company.
- Managed complex travel, events, or multi-time-zone coordination.
- Handled sensitive information responsibly and without issues.
- Drafted external communication that was sent under another person’s name and was well received.
- Worked closely with a Founder, CEO, executive, or senior operator.
Who Should Not Apply
- Candidates who are not currently in Singapore with the legal right to work there.
- People looking for a fixed 9-to-5 structure with clear boundaries.
- Those expecting a fully remote arrangement.
- Anyone who needs a narrow role definition before being able to contribute.
- Applicants whose technical ability does not go beyond Microsoft Office.
- People who do not use AI tools in their everyday workflow.
- Those unwilling to become proficient with Cursor, Claude Code, or equivalent AI-native tools.
- Anyone who prefers to be told exactly what to do.
- People who are uncomfortable with frequent, direct feedback.
Additional Information
This role is for someone with the judgment and initiative to act without needing a rigid job description. The company values speed, ownership, discretion, adaptability, and a willingness to work on whatever drives the business forward most effectively.
