Shop Floor Assistant

Role overview

This full-time shop floor position at Centra Dooradoyle in Limerick focuses on keeping the assigned department well stocked, neatly presented, and compliant with hygiene and food-handling standards.

The role involves maintaining product rotation, facing shelves, supporting store presentation, and helping the team deliver a high standard across the shop floor.

What you will do

• Maintain the assigned department by merchandising, rotating, and front-facing stock.
• Process orders for different store departments as required.
• Present the store to a consistently high standard.
• Work with the Store Manager on layout adjustments, end-cap displays, and side displays, and make sure changes are carried out correctly.
• Apply proper stock labelling and rotation processes.
• Check incoming deliveries according to goods-in procedures.
• Keep the back store area organised, clean, and properly packed away.
• Work in line with Centra’s values of being proud, energetic, imaginative, and community-focused.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Good attention to detail, with an organised and adaptable approach.
• Comfortable using initiative and contributing effectively as part of a team.

Working pattern

This role is full time only. Approximate shift timings are:

• Monday: 08:00 to 16:00
• Tuesday: 09:00 to 17:00
• Wednesday: 08:00 to 16:00
• Thursday: 09:00 to 17:00
• Friday: 08:00 to 16:00
