Role overview

This position is for a Shift Incharge within a chemical manufacturing environment in Navi Mumbai. The role centers on managing shift-level operations, handling urgent production issues, and coordinating closely with internal departments and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

The Shift Incharge is expected to bring hands-on experience in hazardous waste management and batch processing. A major part of the job involves clear and timely communication with production teams and with other site functions such as Quality, Maintenance, and Planning & Logistics. Communication will happen through verbal updates, email, and written reports.

The person in this role will also act as the first point of contact for operational matters that affect important external relationships. The shift manager must make decisions quickly and accurately, as these decisions may have significant consequences for outside organizations and partner companies.
