Role overview
An established technology company in Abu Dhabi is seeking a seasoned ServiceNow Platform Architect to help shape the architecture, governance, and long-term direction of a large enterprise ServiceNow environment. The position is suited to someone who can balance strategic influence with hands-on technical design and decision-making.
What you will do
- Set the architectural direction for the platform, including standards, design principles, and governance practices.
- Oversee architectural consistency across key ServiceNow domains such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and CMDB.
- Evaluate solution designs and provide guidance to development teams throughout implementation.
- Create reusable design patterns and define guardrails that support scalable platform delivery.
- Lead architecture decisions for integrations, API strategy, and MID Server governance.
- Contribute to platform upgrades, performance scalability, and maintainability over the long term.
- Serve as the primary technical decision-maker for complex architecture-related matters.
What the employer is looking for
- At least 8 years of hands-on ServiceNow experience.
- Deep architecture exposure across multiple ServiceNow modules.
- Strong knowledge of CSDM, CMDB, and platform governance.
- Background working in large enterprise environments or a Centre of Excellence setup.
- ServiceNow CSA and CAD certifications are required; CTA is a strong advantage.
