Role overview
Schindler UAE is hiring a Service Technician for its Dubai operations. Schindler Group, founded in Switzerland in 1874, is a global name in elevator, escalator, and related mobility services, with solutions used by billions of people worldwide and a strong presence across the United Arab Emirates.
The company’s UAE business supports landmark properties such as Bluewaters, Bvlgari Hotel, and Dubai Mall. The selected professional will help maintain equipment reliability and support customer satisfaction through timely service work and clear communication.
Key duties
- Carry out servicing, call-backs, and repairs on customer equipment in a timely, efficient, and professional way while following security procedures.
- Respond promptly to assigned call-backs and remain available for callback coverage when required.
- Work collaboratively with other technicians to support the best possible customer experience for the branch.
- Keep customers updated on equipment condition, as well as preventive, corrective, discretionary repair, and modernization needs.
- Follow all safety rules and requirements set by Schindler and its customers.
- Maintain accurate and honest records, including time entries, parts consumption, and callback reporting.
What the company is looking for
- ITI, diploma, or vocational/technical course certification.
- At least 2 years of service or maintenance experience in the elevator and escalator sector.
- Experience in testing and commissioning will be considered a strong plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
