Senior Network Engineer

Penta Consulting is a technology services provider and a trusted outsourced partner delivering professional and managed solutions throughout EMEA. The company is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer with deep expertise in software-defined networking to help shape and run modern enterprise network environments.

What You’ll Do

In this position, you will be responsible for the design, rollout, and continuous improvement of scalable network solutions. The role centres on Cisco ACI, SD-WAN, and SD-Access technologies, with close collaboration across technical teams to support important business services and larger network transformation work.

• Plan, implement, and support Cisco ACI infrastructures.
• Build and fine-tune SD-WAN deployments across multiple sites.
• Deliver and sustain Cisco SD-Access solutions using DNA Center.
• Investigate and resolve advanced issues across LAN, WAN, and data centre networks.
• Help define network architecture, standards, documentation, and operational best practices.
• Work alongside security, cloud, and infrastructure teams.
• Contribute to automation efforts and ongoing service improvements.

Skills and Experience Needed

The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on knowledge of Cisco ACI, SD-WAN, and SD-Access, along with a solid grasp of enterprise networking concepts such as BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, and EVPN. Experience with Cisco DNA Center and automation platforms is important, and familiarity with cloud networking in Azure or AWS will be an advantage. Scripting skills in Python or Ansible are desirable, as is the ability to diagnose and fix complex network environments. Professional certifications such as CCNP or CCIE are highly valued.
