Role overview
Securitas UK is looking for a Security Officer in Glenrothes, Scotland. Responsibilities
- Carry out regular patrols across assigned areas to notice and discourage suspicious behaviour.
- Perform detailed searches in line with company procedures to help secure restricted spaces.
- Keep clear and accurate records, including incident logs and any required paperwork.
- Share information and coordinate responses with coworkers, supervisors, and outside authorities when security issues arise.
- Deliver polite, professional customer service to staff, guests, and visitors.
Requirements
- A current SIA licence is required.
- You must be physically capable of carrying out site patrols.
- The role requires flexibility for day shifts, night shifts, and weekends.
- You must have the right to work in the UK and be able to provide a five-year checkable work history.
- British nationality and UK residency for the last five years are required because of site rules.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills are needed.
