Sanitation Technician

Role Overview

The Atholville facility is hiring a Sanitation Technician to keep production spaces clean, organized, and aligned with required compliance and operating standards.

Key Duties

• Clean production equipment and work areas to maintain a safe, orderly environment.
• Support coworkers by showing and helping them with sanitation procedures.
• Make sure all cleaning work follows quality expectations and safety rules.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment according to standard operating procedures.
• Carry out regular removal of waste and recycling.
• Let the supervisor know when cleaning supplies need to be replenished.
• Finish and maintain the required cleaning records and documentation.

Candidate Profile

• Prior sanitation experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial setting is required.
• You should be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
• A valid WHMIS certification is needed, or you must be willing to obtain it after joining.
• You should be comfortable working both with a team and independently.
• A neat, professional manner and appearance are expected.
• Strong focus on accuracy and detail is important.
• Good written and spoken communication skills are required.
• You must be able to manage multiple tasks, organize priorities, and work within deadlines.
